Adelaide’s newest architectural icon
the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) known as the Cheesegrater by locals, from inside and out. By contrast the other new skyline feature, the Adelaide Oval, seen through the triangular window, is all curved lines and planes.

For the Daily Post photo challenge Angular.

  1. Good photos – they would have been ideal for the WordPress photography101 course the other day when we had to show photos of angles! Isn’t it grate (!) how locals always come up with rather disparaging names for pieces of architecture. I wonder what the architects think of it.

      1. Well I have been away for most of it so have had to use old photos which rather defeats the purpose. However it is good getting me to think about taking other types of photography rather than just plants.
