Plenty to surprise and delight. Meeting our overseas visitors off the tram at Treasury, the suited upmarket garden provided an ideal start to the evening- pleasantly cheap beer in a classy setting. Verdict- 4 beers and 2 wines.

Starting from our home beach Glenelg, we planned a day of wine tasting and fine dining in McLaren Vale (we did this), but also ended up visiting four beaches in one day.
Two very dissimilar music festivals took place in Adelaide over the long Labour Day weekend. One was all tie-dye, dreadlocks and ale, the other was white wine spritzers, hipster food and high street fashion.
