Beach sunset

The tide ebbs and flows; everything is in transformation; nothing is forever. Our time living by the beach has come to an end. Voluntarily. It was always the “Pommie-dream” to live by the seaside. We have lived that dream.

img_2720To commemorate and to give back to the ocean, we took our “shell-of-the-day” collection down to the shore and returned it to nature, for a final sunset, and to recollect on the good times.

Unforgettable times. Everyday the seascape a fresh canvass. A place for recreation, reflection, retreat and renewal. For play, for people, for perspective.

But now time for new dreams and horizons: urban horizons. A new life in the city beckons. Of course, the beach remains a short tram ride away, but from now on more art, more culture, more gigs, more bar and cafe society.

  1. Very nice of you to return the shells back to the beach. They must be sad to leave you, but also happy to be back where they came from 🙂 Good luck with the move…where to now for you… I don’t think you mentioned. Looking forward to following along 🙂
