It was a windy day for a barbecue by the lake but all the umbrellas were securely tethered- or so we thought… Without warning a huge gust came and something large and winged flew past my face. An umbrella roof bound. No worries though, as you can always rely on the practical skills of Aussies.

I had just entered the water and was busy acclimatising as the helicopter passed again. Seconds later, and before I could plunge in fully, the surf lifesaving dingy was hurtling towards me from the next beach down the coast.
Living close to not one, but at least four world class wine regions, we see the transition in the vines and the grapes throughout the year. Take a brief stroll through our year.
