Birthday morning

We were in Melbourne to see Tottenham Hotspur play at the MCG for my birthday weekend. On the morning of my birthday we took a tram down to St Kilda for cake and coffee on Ackland Street, a walk on the beach, then on to a lunch date. It was the perfect morning of a perfect day.

Adelaide Guitar Festival Adelaide was recently awarded UNESCO City of Music status. With its Festival, Symphony Orchestra, Cabaret Festival, Guitar Festival, and as host to Australia’s world music festival Womadelaide. Wide spaces narrow margins

From the narrow laneways to the wide open expanse of the MCG, football fever was everywhere. Melbourne, famed for its laneways and vibrant street life, hosted the International Champions Cup at the iconic MCG (Melbourne Cricket Club) featuring Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and local favourites, the modestly named Melbourne Victory.
