It’s the beach that provides the backdrop to our lives with its ever changing light and moods. In all seasons its presence, like a character in a play, revealing the earnestness of spring, the playfulness of summer, the contemplation of autumn, the occasional wildness of winter.
In my first year here I took a photograph for every day of the year in my Instagram project #Glenelgbeach365. All activities, all weathers, all moods recorded, so you could say the beach is a muse. Other vastly superior photographic talents have likewise fallen for the same alchemy of sky, sea and sand.
